RECAP: 5th TFO Awards (2013)

The fifth year of this blog’s awards, the TFO Awards, honoured the excellence in film for the year 2013. The awards were posted in April 2015.

The year’s big winner Alfonso Cuaron’s science fiction thriller Gravity, winning eight of its ten nominations including Best Motion Picture and Best Directing (Cuaron).

The rest of the Best Picture nominees were 12 Years a Slave (10 nominations), Her (8), Inside Llewyn Davis (8), The Past (6), The Wolf of Wall Street (5), Before Midnight (3), Enough Said (3).

Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines and Olivier Assayas’ Something in the Air got lone nominations for the same category.
