3rd TFO Awards PART 3: Visual / Aural / Screenplay Categories

*** I’m too exhausted to writer individual write-ups, but for some categories, I’ll share some thoughts. To discuss my choices, just go to the comment box! 😀 ***

*** I MIGHT do write-ups for each nominee since I do want to justify my choices, but not now 🙂 ***

The following awards are:

Best original song
Best Makeup and Hairstyling
Best Visual Effects
Best Adapted Music / Song Score
Best Original Music Score
Best Sound Editing
Best Sound Mixing
Best Film Editing
Best Cinematography
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Original Screenplay

.

.

.

Best Original Song

Not the strongest year for this category, but the line-up is so varied, I can’t really complain that much. One of the categories where I REALLY had a hard time ranking. Eventually, my choice is a song that successfully conveyed its themes more than the film itself.

  1. I appreciate the fact that you stick by the films that you really love and refused to be swayed by critical consensus about it. 🙂

Also, looooooove the images esp in the visual categories. Keep ’em coming. I’m eager to see the acting categories. Great work.

    • Thanks so much! 😀

Well, I reeeeally try to be as objective as possible (by choosing REALLY what I think to be the best of a specific category, rather than basing it on how I love/hate a film), but yeah – I try not to care about the critical consensus of a film. Weirdly, though, It actually affects me more before I watch a film (in a way).

BTW, already working on the remaining categories. 🙂
